HARMONY · Water softening

Less limescale in your daily routine

On taps, shower screens and appliances, limescale takes work to remove. HARMONY reduces water hardness to limit new deposits in the circuit it supplies.

HARMONY at a glance

A size suited to your home.

9 L

Compact size

Capacity to be assessed against consumption and hardness.

18 L

Mid-range capacity

Resin volume is part of sizing.

26 L

Higher capacity

Flow rate and location also need to be considered.

Resin volumes in the manufacturer's range. The proposed model is specified in the quote.

01

A resin that targets hardness

Water passes through an ion-exchange resin. It retains the calcium and magnesium ions responsible for hardness, exchanging them for sodium ions. The installation setting determines outlet water hardness.

With use, the resin needs regeneration with brine, a solution of water and salt prepared by the system. Keeping the salt tank supplied is therefore part of HARMONY's maintenance.

02

Choose the size based on your water

The HARMONY range comes in three resin volumes: 9, 18 and 26 litres. The choice depends on your water hardness and consumption. Your quote specifies the suitable model and its availability.

The choice combines inlet hardness, consumption and the flow needed at peak times. State the number of occupants, bathrooms and uses running simultaneously.

03

Installation starts at the water inlet

Plan the location at the inlet of the circuit to be softened. Allow access to the shut-off valve, bypass and salt tank, along with the connections required in the manual.

Confirm the regeneration drain, power supply and residual hardness setting. The installation diagram must also identify drinking water outlets.

04

Regular care for your system

A control screen and salt level monitoring give you useful everyday information. Connected functions depend on the version offered.

Keep the chosen setting, hardness readings and service dates. Checking operation, supplying salt and carrying out the tasks in the manual all contribute to ongoing care.

05

A quote specific to water softening

Ask for the model, connections, commissioning and ongoing care to be listed separately. Add salt, maintenance, regeneration water and electricity costs to understand the cost over time.

If your project also includes water served at the table, describe that need separately. Connecting a drinking water system must be checked against the characteristics of the upstream water.

Your questions

The details
that matter.

How can I find out my water hardness?

Check your supplier's information and the results available for your network. A measurement at the installation point then helps plan sizing and settings.

How should I organise salt supplies?

Ask for the prescribed salt type, how often to check the tank and the access needed to fill it. Consumption depends on the water treated and regeneration cycles.

Can HARMONY treat the whole home?

Coverage depends on its position in the internal pipework. The installation diagram must specify softened circuits, bypasses and drinking water outlets.

What can I expect for existing marks?

Softening aims to limit new deposits. Surfaces and appliances already affected by limescale still need maintenance, using methods suited to their materials.

What about your everyday needs?
